Christkindlmarkt Mission & Details

The mission of Christkindlmarkt SLC (CKM) is to connect and serve the community through a magical, cultural celebration of Christmas. CKM’s motto is “Putting the KIND in ChristKINDlmarkt.”  Christkindlmarkt SLC is a 501(c)(3) and is run by a volunteer organizing committee who receives no compensation for their efforts.

Key Dates


Vendor applications due on May 16, 2025

Late applications will be accepted from May 17 to May 31. Late applicants will be charged a $50 late fee, if accepted.

Final vendor selection announced on July 1st, 2025

A jury committee will review applications and select vendors based on uniqueness of product, market fit, and past vendor’s sales. Vendor applicants will receive an email with their application status no later than July 1, 2025. Accepted vendors receive additional information regarding fee and participation instructions prior to the market.

Vendor Application Information


Criteria

Christkindlmarkt SLC is looking for unique products preferably with a European flair. Products do not need to be handmade. A jury committee will review applications and select vendors based on uniqueness of product, market fit and past vendor’s sales.

Christkindlmarkt SLC projects crowds of 100,000+ visitors over four days. Vendors are expected to be prepared with enough inventory for all four days.

Booth Options

We will do our best, but we cannot guarantee you will be placed in the booth that you request. Vendors are responsible for decorating the inside and outside of their booth in a festive manner.

  1. Wooden booth (10’ x 10’)

  2. Wooden booth (8’ x 6’)

  3. Red/white striped CANOPY with wooden platform floor (10’ x 10’)

  4. Your own canopy 

Vendor Fees

Vendor fees include booth fees, electrical package fees, and percentage of net sales. Booth fees and electrical package fees are due upon acceptance.

Booth Fees:

$150 (regardless of booth option)

Electrical Package Fee: (Choose one)

  • Basic Package ($50): Accommodates vendors who need one outlet to plug in Christmas lights (Will NOT accommodate electrical heaters)


  • Intermediate Package ($250): Accommodates vendors who have three or fewer appliances and will cover 4500 watts of power

  • Supreme Package ($500): Accommodates vendors with four or more appliances and will cover 9000 watts of power

Percentage of Net Sales:

  • Product Vendors: 10% net sales (gross sales less tax)

  • Food Vendors: 15% net sales (gross sales less tax)

Photos (Required for first time vendors)

First time vendor applications should include 3-5 photographs of products/food. Past CKM vendors do not need to include photos. Upload photos or provide a link (social media is fine) on your application or email photos to vendorteam@christkindlmarkt-slc.com

Complete application by Friday, May 16th. You can apply online, by email, or by mail.


Beware of Vendor Scams

Vendor scams operate by telling people they are being accepted as a vendor at Christkindlmarkt SLC. In reality, you are not being offered a spot but rather you may have been tricked into sending money to a scam artist.

Christkindlmarkt SLC will communicate with vendors exclusively via email and come from an @christkindlmarkt-slc.com email.

Christkindlmarkt SLC does not communicate with accepted vendors through Facebook, Instagram or any other channel besides the email addresses listed above. Vendors are only asked to pay vendor fees after formal acceptance (via email). If you have any concerns, we recommend ceasing communication and disregarding such emails as they are a scam. If you have received a vendor offer email that says it’s from Christkindlmarkt SLC and want to confirm its legitimacy, you can contact us at vendorteam@christkindlmarkt-slc.com.
