St. Martin's Lantern parade during German Christmas market, Christkindlmarkt Salt Lake City, at This Is The Place Heritage Park

Performers and entertainers!

Pamela Atkinson

Christkindlmarkt SLC has selected Pamela Atkinson as our 2016 shining example of giving in our community. Pamela has been described as one of the hardest working, most compassionate, and selfless civic leaders in Utah. She has spent tireless hours serving our homeless, our refugee, and less fortunate communities. Her accomplishments are woven deeply into the fabric of our state: Member of the State Board of Regents, Adviser to the past three Utah Governors, Elder in the First Presbyterian Church and Chair of Utah's Coalition Against Pornography. A low-income heath clinic has also been named after her. The Christkindlmarkt committee applauds the genuine love and care Pamela shows for each individual she serves. Not only does she work to attend to their physical needs, Pamela also takes the time to truly become a friend to those she assists. She has set the standard for what can be done when we do a simple act of kindness each day. Pamela will lead our St. Martin's Lanten Parade on Thursday, December 1st at 6 p.m. If you would like to march in the St. Martin's Lanten Parade, please contact us at: christkindlmarktslc@gmail.com.
